Meet the Team.
Daniel Adigun is the Director of Quality and Food Safety at Edesia Nutrition, responsible for the comprehensive FSQA program. This includes developing, executing, and maintaining FSQA policy and strategic planning to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer standards. He champions a sound food safety culture and provides technical leadership on FSQA programs to all levels of the organization.
Prior to joining Edesia, Daniel has held senior/executive-level positions in different organizations as a quality and food safety technical expert, from startups to multi-national corporations.
Before Edesia, Daniel spent 5 years as the Director of Food Safety and Quality for a Leading Fat and Oils manufacturer and packer of edible oils, where he served as a member of the senior management and led the quality, regulatory compliance, AOCS-certified food laboratory, and the sanitation departments. He has (an MSc) Master of Science in Community Health from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York. He also has several other relevant food safety and Quality certifications.
Andrew Kamara is the VP of Operations, where he manages the manufacturing side of Edesia, overseeing manufacturing, quality and logistics/warehouse. Andrew has been with Edesia for 13 years and has served in many different positions across the organization.
Prior to Edesia, Andrew spent two years working for Coca Cola Enterprises as a mid-level Distribution Resource overseeing deliveries, storage and distribution of a wide range of bottled soft drinks. Andrew also spent six years working for United Natural Foods as a Quality Assurance Specialist and a grocery/ repackaging Supervisor.
Andrew studied Political Science & International relations from the University of Connecticut and has an Advance Diploma in Electronics from NIIT Accra, Ghana.
