Edesia Nutrition Grants will fuel groundbreaking research in innovative solutions designed to tackle malnutrition at its roots. We believe that by fostering innovation and collaborating with passionate experts, we can find new ways to prevent malnutrition, strengthen communities, and break the cycle of poverty that holds so many children back.
We have always recognized that providing life-saving foods is just one crucial element of a larger ecosystem that supports global nutrition. Through the Edesia Nutrition Grants we will collaborate with NGOs and academic institutions to advance knowledge and disseminate best practices for preventing and treating malnutrition.
Grants are by invitation only.

Dr. Paul Sondo and his team at the Institut de Recherche en Sciences de la Santé (IRSS) in Burkina Faso are focused on a critical intersection: malnutrition and malaria. These two life-threatening illnesses often strike the same communities, leaving children more vulnerable. By combining Edesia’s nutrient-products, like Plumpy’Doz and Nutributter, with seasonal malaria prevention, we aim to strengthen children’s immune systems, prevent illness, and pave the way for healthier futures. Our goal is not just to treat malnutrition, but to prevent it before it takes hold.
